According to Miami’s tourism bureau research more Brazilians visited Miami in 2015 than did visitors from all other countries. In fact, though 2015 was a challenging year for the Brazil economy, almost 20,000 more Brazilians visited Miami in 2015 than did in 2014 or up 3%. Some 582,000 Brazilians visited Miami in 2015. Canadian and Columbian came in second and third during the same period with approximately 521,000 and 402,000 visitors respectfully. The number of international visitors to Miami translates into some $25.1 billion of economic impact in the Miami community for 2015.
